Golf Course Overview
Cave Castle Golf Club occupies 150 acres of meadow and parkland at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, laid out around the historic Cave Castle Hotel in South Cave. The course has been continuously developed since 1989 and plays as an 18-hole parkland layout of around 6,524 yards from the white tees with a slope rating of 137. A varied mix of holes runs through mature oaks and gentle undulations, with water features and strategically placed trees testing shot-making from every tee. The grounds themselves wrap around a 19th-century castellated country house whose earliest roots reach back to the 1700s.
The club is integrated with Cave Castle Hotel, giving players access to a 71-bedroom hotel, an award-winning restaurant, health club, swimming pool, spa and extensive function facilities — ideal for golf breaks, weddings and conferences. On the golf side, there is a pro shop, electric buggy fleet, practice area and tuition with the resident PGA professional. Cave Castle sits just off the A63/M62 corridor, around ten miles west of Hull, with Brough mainline station about three miles away.
