Golf Course Overview
Castlefields Golf Club, founded in 1903, is one of the smallest golf courses in England — yet remains a challenging and thought-provoking layout. The 6-hole, 18-tee parkland course measures around 2,406 yards from the white tees with a par of 54, and the varied contours around the small but excellently maintained greens require many different types of shot. The club celebrated its centenary in 2003 and continues to host competitive members' golf alongside Halifax, Huddersfield and District Union and Rabbits competitions.
With competition rounds taking less than three hours, the club is particularly popular for those frustrated with longer rounds at full-size venues. Located on Rastrick Common in Brighouse — visitors must currently play with an existing member for health and safety reasons. Easily reached from junction 25 of the M62.
