Golf Course Overview
Carrick Speakers, the golf section of the Carrick Sports Club known locally as 'The Speakers', is a non-course-owning club based in Maybole in South Ayrshire and affiliated to Golf South Ayrshire. Members of the section enjoy access to the eight Golf South Ayrshire courses, including the championship James Braid-designed Belleisle and Seafield in Ayr, and the club runs an active calendar of competitions and outings around the local area for golfers of all standards. The Speakers Club itself, at 8 Whitehall, has been a focal point of Maybole social life for decades and is the centre of the golf section's social and committee activities.
The wider sports and social club provides a base for Carrick Speakers golfers, with bar facilities, social events and competitions through the year. New members are welcomed and contact is made through the club premises in Maybole, around five miles south of Ayr on the A77.
Visit the affiliated Golf South Ayrshire website.
