Golf Course Overview
Carrick Knowe Golf Club, established 1905, was a members' social club playing over the 18-hole Carrick Knowe municipal course on the west side of Edinburgh, historically popular with local golfers and a feeder for generations of Edinburgh players. With membership having fallen to only around 20 in its last years and unable to meet running costs, the club ceased operations on 11 November 2018, with remaining members joining the neighbouring Carrickvale Golf Club; the Carrick Knowe course itself remains open, run by Edinburgh Leisure.
Closed 2018.
