Golf Course Overview
Carrbridge Golf Club was formally constituted in 1980 and accepted by the R&A, although there is evidence of golf being played on the site for over a hundred years previously, with records at the National Golf Museum dating from 1905. The 9-hole parkland course plays to 5,382 yards over 18 holes with a par of 71, moulded around the natural contours of the land with few man-made hazards. Burns and ditches feature on every hole, and the course rises over 300 feet, offering fine views across Strath Spey to the Cairngorm Mountains from the 7th tee.
The club has a charming tin-roofed clubhouse serving drinks, snacks and light lunches, with practice nets and chipping and putting areas. Visitors are welcomed all year round, with an honesty box system in place when the clubhouse is closed, and tee times can be booked in advance. Carrbridge sits on Inverness Road in the heart of the village, within the Cairngorms National Park.
