Golf Course Overview
Carluke Golf Club was established in 1894 and is set in a rural location above the Clyde Valley within the boundaries of a former country estate. The 18-hole parkland course measures around 6,003 yards to a par of 70, with mature tree-lined fairways and well-positioned bunkers protecting compact greens. The 11th and 12th holes are widely remembered by visitors for their character, and the course offers a fair test for both higher and lower handicaps. Continued investment has produced a buggy path round the entire course and a short-game practice area.
The well-appointed clubhouse offers spectacular views over the Clyde Valley with bar and excellent catering facilities, and there is a fully-stocked pro shop run by PGA professional Craig Ronald. Visitors and societies are accepted Monday to Friday, with society deals available. Carluke sits around 20 miles south-east of Glasgow, just one mile off the A73, accessed from the M74.
