Golf Course Overview

Cardiff Golf Club is a mature tree-lined parkland course located in the leafy suburb of Cyncoed just three and a half miles north of the city centre. The original layout was designed by Robert Walker and today plays to 18 holes, a par of 70 and around 6,090 yards from the white tees. The gently undulating terrain features a mix of attractive and strategically demanding holes, with well-established trees defining the fairways and a number of shorter par 4s where accurate positioning is rewarded over raw length.

The modern clubhouse offers dining with course views, function rooms and a well-stocked pro shop, while on-course facilities include a driving range, putting and chipping greens and a practice bunker. Under Head Professional Adam Constable the club runs a busy coaching programme and welcomes visitors, societies and corporate days (maximum handicap 28). Cardiff is easily reached from the M4 and A48 and sits a short drive from the city centre, making it a popular choice among local members and travelling golfers alike.
