Golf Course Overview

Caprington Community Golf Club plays out of the public Caprington golf complex on the southern outskirts of Kilmarnock, in the grounds of the historic Caprington Estate. The 18-hole par-69 parkland course measures around 5,832 yards with tight fairways, small greens and natural water hazards, and is complemented by an enjoyable 9-hole layout that ends with a neat par 3 known as 'Hame'. The course is owned by East Ayrshire Council and tee times are bookable through the council, with the club having taken over the running of the course as a community-led operation in 2015.

The clubhouse welcomes visitors and provides a bar, function room, locker rooms and a starters office, with a separate 18-hole FootGolf course also on the site. Visiting groups can be catered for and weekend tee times are available except for Saturdays before 3pm. The course is signposted on Ayr Road, just south of central Kilmarnock and easily reached from the A77.
