Golf Course Overview

Cannock Park Golf Club is based at the Chase Leisure Centre on Stafford Road, Cannock. The course was first laid out as a 9-hole municipal in the 1980s and was redesigned and extended to a full 18 holes by Ray Broome in 1992. Measuring around 4,958 yards from the white competition tees to a par of 67, the parkland layout is relatively short but uses mature trees, ditches, undulating greens and thick rough to add interest, with three sets of tees and a defined winter course on mats.

Cannock Park is a public pay-and-play course operated by Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles on behalf of Cannock Chase District Council. The members' club organises competitions, men's, ladies' and seniors' sections and is affiliated to the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs and England Golf, with members enjoying a County Card. The Chase Leisure Centre clubhouse provides a bar, café and changing rooms, and the venue is well placed just off the A34 with easy access from the M6 Toll.
