Golf Course Overview
The Cambridgeshire Golf Club, formerly known as the Cambridgeshire Moat House Golf Club, was established in 1974 at Bar Hill, around four miles north-west of Cambridge. Set in approximately 200 acres of gently rolling country parkland, the 18-hole course plays to 6,654 yards with a par of 72. Tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering and a number of ditches and water hazards demand accurate driving and thoughtful approach play.
The club has hosted the PGA East Anglian Open, an event that has drawn professionals of the calibre of Tom Watson, Nick Faldo and Seve Ballesteros. Facilities include a putting green, chipping area, pro shop, bar and terrace, with an adjoining hotel providing overnight accommodation. The course is accessed directly from junction 25 of the A14, making it convenient for visitors from Cambridge, Huntingdon and further afield.
