Golf Course Overview
Cambridge Meridian Golf Club, opened in 1994 at Toft, is one of only ten golf courses worldwide that straddle the Greenwich Meridian line, with players crossing it seven times during a round. The layout was designed by Peter Alliss, Clive Clark and Bruce Weller, with earlier input from Jack Nicklaus and others, and stretches to 6,671 yards with a par of 73. The course combines rolling parkland features with subtle links touches, well-placed bunkering and a number of water hazards.
Members and visitors are served by a restaurant and bar, Sunday lunches, Christmas events, wedding and function facilities and a well-stocked pro shop. Tuition is offered along with practice facilities including a driving range. The club is easily reached off the A428, signposted Hardwick, then following signs for Toft. Societies, corporate days and open competitions are actively welcomed.
