Golf Course Overview
Camberley Heath Golf Club was founded in 1913 and designed by the legendary golf architect Harry S. Colt. This classic heathland course plays to a par of 71 over approximately 6,426 yards across 135 acres of heather-clad hills and valleys framed by towering pines. Colt's strategic design remains largely intact and the sandy soil offers excellent drainage and year-round playability. The opening drive was taken by HRH Prince Albert of Schleswig-Holstein, and in 1929 the club hosted the "Admirals vs Generals" exhibition match featuring the Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII) and the Duke of York (later George VI). The par-4 18th, a dog-leg finishing hole over a heather-covered hill, is widely regarded as the signature.
The clubhouse offers two large first-floor function rooms for weddings and events, a Heathland Bar, a well-stocked pro shop and a comfortable reception area. The course has served as a Regional Qualifier for The Open Championship and was frequently used for Open pre-qualification in the 1980s. Non-members are welcomed subject to booking. Camberley Heath is accessed via Golf Drive off the A30, convenient for the M3 and sitting close to Sandhurst, Frimley and Yateley.

The Club recently celebrated their Centenary after its foundation in 1913 when Harry Colt routed this wonderful heathland course on a narrow but undulating strip of land on the famous Surrey sand-belt.
