Golf Course Overview

Calderfields Golf & Country Club was designed by Roy Winter and opened in 1983 on land east of Walsall. The mature parkland course is an 18-hole par 72 measuring around 6,379 yards, characterised by long undulating greens and water hazards that come into play on no fewer than five holes. The signature hole is the 376-yard 8th, where a pool must be carried from the tee before the approach shot flies over the main lake to the green, demanding a long and straight drive. The course was built around the lake that gives the club its scenic setting.

As a fully-fledged country club, Calderfields offers a 20-bedroom hotel overlooking the 18th fairway, the Lakeview Restaurant, Alan's Sports Lounge with Sky Sports, a pro shop and the Staffordshire Performance Golf Centre. The venue is popular for weddings, conferences and private functions, and hosts annual open competitions each summer. Calderfields is located on Aldridge Road (A454) just outside Walsall town centre, with quick access from the M6 and M6 Toll.
