Golf Course Overview
Caldecott Hall Golf Club is set in a 400-acre country estate at Fritton, near Great Yarmouth, with views stretching from a historic Viking burial ground across to the Waveney Forest. The main course is an eighteen-hole parkland layout playing to a par of 73 over around 6,866 yards, with mature trees, water features and a variety of doglegs lining the fairways and small undulating greens. The club is complemented by a separate nine-hole par-3 course that demands the use of a wide range of clubs and is well suited to shorter games, beginners and societies.
Facilities at Caldecott Hall include a driving range, practice area, putting green, pro shop and a clubhouse with the Barn1 Bar & Restaurant. The wider Caldecott Hall Country Park, run by Tingdene, also offers an indoor swimming pool, gym, holiday lodges and is home to the Redwings Horse Sanctuary at Caldecott. Visitors are welcome any day, and the venue is just off the A143 between Great Yarmouth and Beccles, near the Waveney edge of the Norfolk Broads.
