Golf Course Overview
Bushey Hall Golf Club in Watford, Hertfordshire, was one of the oldest parkland courses in the county, founded in 1897 on the former Bushey Hall course vacated by West Herts Golf Club, and latterly an 18-hole, 6,005-yard layout with notable fairways and a two-storey clubhouse overlooking the 18th. Owned in recent years by Veladail Leisure with significant recent investment, the course closed in October 2019 to allow the clubhouse to be demolished and replaced with 32 flats, with plans for a 350-home development since approved and a new smaller clubhouse/course never materialising.
