Golf Course Overview
Bryn Morfydd Golf Club at Llanrhaeadr, near Denbigh in North Wales, was a hotel golf complex set in 32 acres overlooking the Vale of Clwyd, offering two nine-hole layouts – the short par-3 Duchess course (designed by Peter Alliss) and the longer Dukes course (later extended by Muirhead/Henderson to around 5,800 yards) – alongside a country-house hotel renowned for weddings and dining. A fire in 2005 damaged the hotel and the whole site closed in early 2009; after years of dereliction the land has now been redeveloped as a luxury holiday lodge park.
Closed 2009.
