Golf Course Overview

Broughton Heath Golf Club was established in 1998 at Church Broughton, west of Derby, and is recognised as one of the longest 18-hole par-3 courses in the United Kingdom. Set across 42 acres, the layout measures over 3,000 yards with holes ranging from 116 to 224 yards, and incorporates lakes, ditches and mature trees as natural hazards. The course carries full World Handicap System ratings from all three tee colours, providing a genuine test for players of every standard. The all-par-3 format places a premium on iron play, club selection and putting rather than length off the tee.

The club operates a telephone booking system and welcomes pay-and-play visitors, members and juniors throughout the week, with a friendly clubhouse, practice area and putting green available. Men's, ladies' and junior sections run regular competitions, and the venue is popular for society days seeking a shorter but still demanding round. Broughton Heath is easily reached from the A50 and A515 corridors and sits in rolling Derbyshire countryside between Derby and Uttoxeter.
