Golf Course Overview
Brough Golf Club was established in 1891, making it one of the oldest clubs in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The 18-hole inland parkland course plays to a par of 68 over roughly 6,048 yards and rewards precision over raw distance. The card features five par 3s and a single par 5, with mature trees framing the fairways and undulating terrain demanding thoughtful club selection. The greens are renowned for running true and consistently fast throughout the year, and the course sits on free-draining land that keeps it playable in most conditions.
The clubhouse provides three reception rooms, a well-stocked pro shop and a friendly bar and catering operation serving freshly prepared food. PGA-qualified professionals offer coaching from age five upwards and the club runs an active junior programme. Brough lies just off the A63 around ten miles west of Hull, about five miles from the Humber Bridge and two miles from the M62. Brough railway station on the Hull-to-London intercity line is only half a mile from the clubhouse, making the club unusually easy to reach by public transport.
