 Golf Course Overview

Brookfield Golf Club in Hankelow, Cheshire (near Nantwich) was a privately owned 18-hole 6,128-yard par-70 course built on 127 acres of Cheshire countryside by the Reade family, opened in 2002 with USGA-standard tees and greens, featuring nine ponds, mature trees and rare black poplars, along with a 16-bay floodlit driving range and a successful golf academy run by long-serving PGA professional Rob Ashbrook; it once had more than 600 members. The club closed in September 2017 after the owners rejected a members' buyout offer and instead sold the clubhouse and some adjoining land to a private developer. The course itself was returned to farmland.

Closed 2017.
