Golf Course Overview
Bromsgrove Golf Centre opened in 1992 on a 140-acre site of rolling Worcestershire countryside, with the 18-hole layout designed by Hawtree Ltd and Mike Cox. The parkland course measures approximately 5,969 yards with a par of 68 and is laid out around tree-lined fairways, fast greens, and well-placed bunkers. The long par 5 14th is often singled out as the course's signature test, with an uphill approach to a narrow green, and water hazards come into play notably at the 16th.
As a family-run "centre" rather than a traditional private club, Bromsgrove offers a full practice package including a large driving range, a golf academy with four PGA professionals, Trackman-equipped coaching bays, a chipping green, and a short academy course alongside the main 18 holes. The Edwards Bar & Restaurant and a conference suite support society days, corporate events, and weddings. The centre sits on Stratford Road, easily reached from Junction 1 of the M42 and Junction 5 of the M5.
