Golf Course Overview
Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club, founded in 1915, occupies a beautiful setting on the southern edge of the New Forest National Park. The original 18-hole layout was designed by Harry Colt and retains its classic character to this day. Measuring around 6,222 yards to a par of 70, the course is arranged unusually as three loops of six holes, with a stream crossing nine of them, and features a mix of heathland and woodland. Red deer, roe deer and abundant bird life are frequently seen during a round. The course has featured in Today's Golfer and Golf Monthly's Top 200 and Justin Rose held the course record in 1996.
The club enjoys a traditional clubhouse with a friendly bar and restaurant, extensive practice facilities — including a putting green, indoor and outdoor nets and a dedicated short-game area with three target greens — and a well-equipped pro shop. Visitors are welcome by prior booking with a valid handicap. The club is reached via Sway Road in Brockenhurst village, two miles from Brockenhurst station on the main London Waterloo to Bournemouth line.
