Golf Course Overview
Broke Hill Golf Club at Halstead, near Sevenoaks in Kent, was an 18-hole parkland course of 6,509 yards (par 72) designed by David Williams and opened in 1993, built by the Rolstone family on rolling green-belt land two miles from the M25 and featuring 90 bunkers, water on four holes and a modern clubhouse with balcony over the 18th. Shareholders accepted an offer for sale to property developers in late 2017 and the course closed in December 2017; the site has since been the subject of repeated planning applications (most recently by Quinn Estates for an 800-home scheme), while the overgrown fairways have become an informal nature reserve.
Closed 2017.
