Broadway Golf Club

 Golf Course Overview

Broadway Golf Club was founded in 1895 and relocated to its current setting on Willersey Hill in 1910, sitting at nearly 900 feet above sea level on the Cotswold escarpment. The course carries a distinguished design heritage — Alister MacKenzie remodelled several greens in the late 1920s (notably the dramatic drop-shot par-3 5th, widely considered the signature hole), Tom Simpson later altered the 8th and 9th, and James Braid fashioned a new back nine just before the Second World War. The par-72 layout measures around 6,184 yards, with an inland-links feel, dry-stone walls crossing the fairways, undulating greens and some of the finest views in the Cotswolds across the Vale of Evesham to the Malvern Hills.

Clubhouse facilities earned Broadway a Golf World "Best 19th Hole" award, and the club also provides a covered driving range, trolley, buggy and club hire, and professional tuition with resident professional Josh Davies. Visitors and societies are welcomed subject to availability, and the club regularly hosts county and regional tournaments. Broadway sits just off the A44 between Broadway and Chipping Campden, with easy access from the M5 at Tewkesbury and the M40 at Warwick — and although the postal address is Worcestershire, the club is affiliated to the Gloucestershire Golf Union.
