Golf Course Overview
The Bristol Golf Club at Almondsbury opened in 2000 on the grounds of a former deer park and is built around an 18-hole championship parkland course measuring around 6,138 yards to a par of 70, with USGA-specification greens, tees and approaches. The layout is complemented by "The Little Bristol", a 9-hole par-3 short course of around 832 yards that suits beginners and short-game practice. The terrain rolls gently across the old parkland with several memorable par 3s over water and sweeping elevated views towards the Severn Estuary and into Wales.
The club is housed in a Grade II-listed 18th-century building with multiple function rooms, bar, restaurant and a large car park, and it operates a 15-bay floodlit Toptracer driving range along with a chipping green and practice bunker. Visitors are welcomed year-round and the venue hosts corporate golf days, charity events, weddings and celebrations. Brickhampton sits just off junction 17 of the M5, making it easily accessible for golfers from Bristol, Gloucestershire and South Wales.
