Golf Course Overview

Brierley Forest Golf Club opened in 1993 and was designed and built by two retired soldiers, who oversaw the planting of more than 12,000 trees to shape the young layout. The 18-hole course measures around 6,016 yards to a par of 72, offering a mix of woodland and open parkland with notable changes in elevation across its middle stretch. The signature 6th is a long, sloping par 5 to a raised green protected by water, while holes 10 and 12 are considered among the toughest challenges on the card.

Set in Huthwaite just off the A38 and around ten minutes from M1 Junction 28, the club is family-owned and runs a welcoming, community-focused programme of opens, charity days and society bookings. Facilities include a driving range, chipping green, practice bunker, pro shop and clubhouse with meeting room and events space, and there is a full calendar of competitions for the men's, ladies' and junior sections.
