 Golf Course Overview

Bridlington Golf Club, often known locally as Belvedere, was founded in 1905 with an original layout attributed to James Braid and John Henry Taylor. The 18-hole parkland course measures approximately 6,377 yards off the white tees and plays to a par of 71. Thousands of trees screen the fairways, six water features come into play and well-placed bunkers defend the greens, which are considered among the finest in the area. The 14th has been reshaped so the extended lake running down the side of the hole now guards the front of the green, providing one of the round's most memorable approach shots.

The clubhouse, formerly Hilderthorpe Hall, has been extensively redeveloped and houses the attached Belvedere Hotel alongside a bar, restaurant and function rooms. There is a grass driving range, pro shop, buggy hire and a welcoming visitor programme, with stay-and-play golf breaks widely promoted. The club sits south of Bridlington just off the A165 coast road and enjoys magnificent views across Bridlington Bay, making it a regular host of county championships including past East Riding Union Open Championships.
