Breadsall Priory Golf & Country Club

 Golf Course Overview

Breadsall Priory is one of the few golf venues in the East Midlands to offer two 18-hole courses, set within 300 acres of parkland on the edge of the Peak District near Morley. The Championship Priory Course, designed by David Cox, measures around 6,054 yards to a par of 70, featuring strategically placed bunkers, water hazards and a celebrated elevated par-3 17th. The second layout, the Moorland Course, is more open in character and is generally considered kinder underfoot, providing a contrasting challenge against the hilly and more heavily wooded Priory. Both courses have earned recognition among the top 100 in the UK and Ireland and hold Audubon-certified environmental status.

The 13th-century Grade II listed Priory building now serves as a Delta Hotels by Marriott resort, with 112 guest rooms, spa, pool, gym, the Cast Iron Bar & Grill and nine function rooms. Golf facilities include a driving range, putting green, pro shop, men's and women's locker rooms and a full tournament programme, and the venue caters to hotel guests, members, visitors and society days. Breadsall Priory is conveniently reached from Junction 25 of the M1 and is close to Chatsworth House, Kedleston Hall and Alton Towers.
