Golf Course Overview
Bramshaw Golf Club offers 36 holes of contrasting golf on the edge of the New Forest near Lyndhurst. The Forest Course, laid out in 1865, is the oldest in Hampshire — an open heathland layout on common land where New Forest ponies, cattle, deer and donkeys freely graze the fairways, giving it a unique character. The Manor Course, a par-71 parkland design opened in 1970 and extending to around 6,400 yards, features mature trees, streams and more classical parkland challenges.
The modern clubhouse has a restaurant and bar with views across the Manor Course, and The Bell Inn — a 26-room country pub and restaurant on the same Bramshaw Estate — provides accommodation for golf breaks. Visitors and societies are welcome every day, and facilities include a pro shop, practice area and tuition. The club is located at Brook, just off the B3078 and close to junction 1 of the M27, making it easily reached from Southampton, Bournemouth and Salisbury.
