Golf Course Overview

Bovey Tracey Golf Centre sits on Monks Way, about a mile north of the town on the A382, on the eastern fringe of Dartmoor National Park. The course was designed by Frank Frayne and opened in 2004, occupying gently undulating ground with views across the Wray Valley and Trendlebere Downs. It is played as a nine-hole layout with alternate tees for a full 18, measuring around 5,536 yards at par 68 with a course rating of 64.0 and slope of 109. Two long par fives on the front nine are the course's most talked-about holes, and the mix of woodland, ponds and streams gives the layout a distinctly natural feel.

Facilities include a driving range, pitch-and-putt course, footgolf, a café and a resident PGA professional offering tuition. Society groups are welcome, online booking is available, and membership offers joint playing rights at sister club Wrangaton. The course is straightforward to reach from the A38 Devon Expressway and sits within easy driving distance of Exeter, Newton Abbot and the Dartmoor attractions around Bovey Tracey itself.
