Golf Course Overview

Boscombe Ladies Golf Club is one of the few ladies-only clubs remaining in England and has been playing out of Bournemouth's Queens Park Golf Course for close to 70 years. The club is not a course-owner but uses the municipal parkland Queens Park layout as its home. Queens Park is a classic parkland course in the heart of Bournemouth, regarded as an ideal setting for golfers stepping up their competitive game, and club members carry handicaps ranging from single figures through to the upper limits.

The membership programme centres on a Tuesday roll-up Stableford and a Thursday club competition day, with medal and Stableford events running from mid-morning tee times. There are special days including Invitation Day and Captain's Day with prizes and afternoon tea, along with the Christmas lunch and coffee mornings. Members also compete in Hampshire Golf events such as the Stoneham Cup and Hull Shield. Clubhouse refreshments are provided by the Woodpecker Café at Queens Park, and the Boscombe Ladies clubroom is integrated into that parkland setting in central Bournemouth.
