Golf Course Overview

Boringdon Park Golf Club is a modern parkland venue set in 400 acres on the edge of Plymouth, with the main Saltram course opened in 2009. The championship layout extends to 6,918 yards with a par of 73, a course rating of 74.1 and a slope of 125, giving a serious test to lower handicaps while remaining playable from forward tees. Panoramic views take in Plymouth Sound and the southern slopes of Dartmoor, and the mature surrounding woodland contributes to the parkland character. The club also operates a shorter Estuary course, a nine-hole layout suitable for quicker rounds, beginners and evening play, with three par 3s, three par 4s and three par 5s.

The clubhouse is a contemporary restaurant, bar and café open to the public seven days a week and serves freshly prepared food including a Sunday carvery. The site also includes a floodlit driving range, short-game practice areas, a well-stocked pro shop and the Boringdon Park Golf Academy for tuition. Corporate hospitality, weddings and conferences are hosted in the modern function rooms. The club sits on Plymbridge Road in Plympton, roughly five minutes from the A38 and just ten minutes from Plymouth city centre.
