Golf Course Overview

Boldmere Golf Course was originally established in 1936 and is set in the scenic heart of Sutton Park, one of the largest urban parks in Europe. The 18-hole parkland course measures 4,395 yards from the white tees with a par of 63, making it a relatively short but thoroughly engaging layout featuring a number of tricky par-3s. A new 4,154-yard winter blue course has been introduced for use in poorer conditions. The natural beauty of the surroundings — mature trees, rolling fairways and a tranquil lake — adds to the appeal.

The course is run by Mytime Active, while Boldmere Golf Club operates as the members' club playing on the same layout. The club has run an annual 36-hole Club Championship since 1935 and boasts the oldest Pro-Am event in Europe, started in 1952. Facilities include a clubhouse, changing rooms and easy access to wider Sutton Park amenities. The course is conveniently located just a short drive from Birmingham city centre, off Monmouth Drive in Sutton Coldfield.
