Golf Course Overview
Blue Mountain Golf Centre at Binfield near Bracknell, Berkshire, was a popular 18-hole parkland pay-and-play course of around 6,097 yards (par 70) opened in 1993, with water in play on many holes, excellent practice facilities, a large conference and wedding venue and a membership that had once reached 1,200. Operated by Crown Golf on leased land, the course closed in 2016 after Bracknell Forest Council lifted a protective covenant in favour of a 400-home residential development (with schools and a community hub); part of the site has since been repurposed as "Bracknell Golfplex", a 9-hole academy course, driving range and foot-golf facility that opened in 2021.
Closed 2016.
