Golf Course Overview

Blakes Golf Club opened in 2007 at North Weald near Epping and is one of the more unusual layouts in the county — an inland links designed by noted architect Howard Swan. The 18-hole championship course plays around 6,507 yards to a par of 71, with rolling fairways, sleepered bunkers and several water features lending it the feel of a seaside links set in the Essex countryside. The signature 8th is an island-green par 3 inspired by the famous 17th at TPC Sawgrass.

The clubhouse is modern and contemporary in style, with a Player's Lounge, View Bar, brasserie and facilities for weddings, civil ceremonies and corporate hospitality. Visitors, societies and golf days are welcomed seven days a week, with buggies available all year round and practice facilities that include a driving range and chipping area. Blakes is well positioned for Greater London, sitting two miles from junction 7 of the M11 on the A414 and within easy reach of Stansted Airport.
