Golf Course Overview
Blackpool North Shore Golf Club is a private members' club set in 98 acres of links-style terrain, founded in 1904 and redesigned by the celebrated H.S. Colt in 1927. Located just 500 yards from the North Promenade and two miles from Blackpool town centre, the course plays to a par of 71 over 6,388 yards from the white tees, with rolling fairways, undulating greens, and stunning views of the Lake District, Forest of Bowland, and the Pennines. The club has been an Open Championship qualifying venue and hosted prestigious professional events including the PGA Penfold Tournament in 1967.
The well-furnished traditional clubhouse offers magnificent views and a welcoming atmosphere, with a restaurant providing bar snacks and à la carte dining. Two full-size snooker tables and a satellite TV bar complete the social facilities. The resident PGA professional provides coaching, club fitting, and a well-stocked shop.
