Golf Course Overview

Blackburn Golf Club is a classic parkland course founded in 1894, set in the hills above the town with extensive views of the Pennine Hills, the Fylde coast, and beyond. The 18-hole layout measures 6,144 yards at a par of 71, its character shaped by the legendary James Braid who redesigned the course in 1933. Rolling terrain and well-positioned hazards provide a fair but rewarding challenge that suits golfers of all standards.

Conveniently located less than six miles from Junction 31 of the M6 and three miles from the M65, the club is highly accessible and welcomes visitors throughout the week. The professional shop staff, first-class caterers, and administrative team ensure every visit is a memorable experience in a beautiful Lancashire setting.
