Golf Course Overview

Betws-y-coed Golf Club boasts a beautifully manicured 9-hole course set in the heart of North Wales in the stunning foothills of Eryri (Snowdonia), an area of truly outstanding natural beauty. With the River Conwy meandering around its perimeter, the course is widely regarded as "The Jewel of the Nines". The layout features 18 different tee positions to provide variety across two circuits, and, being located on the valley floor, the terrain is not hilly, making for an enjoyable though not taxing walk. Although relatively short in yardage, the course offers an honest test to golfers of all abilities, with generous fairways and everything laid out visibly from the tee.

The club offers a welcoming clubhouse, pro shop facilities and a dress code appropriate to a traditional members' golf club. Club competitions typically run on Saturdays and Sundays, with Ladies' Day on Tuesdays and the Senior Section meeting on Wednesday mornings. Visitors are warmly welcomed. Located on the edge of the popular tourist village of Betws-y-coed — widely known as the Gateway to Snowdonia — the course is within easy reach of attractions including Bodnant Gardens, Conwy Castle and the mountains of the National Park, making it an ideal stop on any North Wales golfing tour.
