Golf Course Overview
Benone Golf Club is a delightful nine-hole par-3 course set within the Benone Tourist Complex on the spectacular Causeway Coast of County Londonderry. The course measures around 1,437 yards (par 27) and offers fresh sea breezes and unsurpassed views of the surrounding countryside, the Atlantic Ocean and Binevenagh mountain. Although there are no bunkers, the rough and the number of blind shots to small greens provide ample opportunity to lose a ball. With holes ranging from short pitches to longer mid-iron tests, it is well suited to beginners, juniors and more experienced players looking for a quick and atmospheric round.
The wider Benone Tourist Complex, run by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, includes a seasonal practice range, a putting green, tennis courts, outdoor heated splash pools, café, shop, tennis courts, holiday and touring caravan pitches, all adjacent to the European Blue Flag beach. The course is on the A2 Causeway Coastal Route, around 12 miles from Limavady and 9 miles from Coleraine, with easy access from Donegal via the Greencastle-Magilligan ferry.
