Golf Course Overview
Belvoir Park Golf Club was founded in 1927 and is regarded as one of the finest parkland courses in Ulster. The 18-hole championship layout was designed by Harry S. Colt — who two years later laid out the famous Dunluce Links at Royal Portrush — and meanders through 163 acres of mature woodland just two miles from Belfast city centre. The undulating course measures around 6,460 yards with a par of 71, with mature specimen trees, gently rolling terrain and superbly conditioned greens consistently picked out by visitors as highlights. The course has hosted The Irish Open, The Irish PGA Championship and The Irish Close.
Facilities include a fine clubhouse and 'The View', a stylish contemporary restaurant with panoramic views of Belfast, Cave Hill and the Divis and Black Mountains. There are also a pro shop, putting and short-game practice areas, club and trolley hire and locker rooms. Visitors are welcome with prior arrangement. The club is easily accessed from both Belfast airports and is well placed for trips to Royal Portrush and Royal County Down.
