Golf Course Overview
Founded in 1890, Belton Park Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Lincolnshire and lies within the spacious parkland of the historic National Trust estate of Belton House. The club offers 27 holes arranged in three nine-hole loops — Brownlow, Belmont and Ancaster — each starting and finishing close to the clubhouse. The full 18-hole Brownlow Course plays to a par of 71 over 6,490 yards and is regularly used to host England Golf championship events. Tree-lined fairways, undulating greens and well-placed water hazards are complemented by the stunning views over the National Trust parkland, complete with a roaming herd of fallow deer.
Set in 240 acres and with around 800 members, Belton Park is a traditional private members' club. Facilities include excellent practice areas, a well-stocked pro shop, a driving range, and a clubhouse with bar, restaurant and function rooms. Visitors are welcomed, though Saturday play requires a member guest. The club is easily reached from the A1, just a couple of miles northeast of Grantham.
