Golf Course Overview
Belmont Lodge & Golf Club in Hereford, Herefordshire, was an 18-hole parkland course of 6,369 yards designed by Bob Sandow and opened in 1983, set in beautiful countryside beside the River Wye with views to the Black and Malvern Hills; the back nine ran memorably alongside the river. Operated by Golf Inns with an on-site 30-bedroom lodge, the course was closed in March 2014 after years of difficult trading despite significant investment, with the site subsequently reopening under new operators.
