Golf Course Overview

Belhus Park Golf Course is a par-69 municipal parkland layout spread across 46 acres of historic Belhus Park at Aveley, South Ockendon in Essex. The course was established in 1972 and measures around 5,303–5,390 yards, offering a well-rounded challenge for beginners through to seasoned players. The front nine opens with more generous fairways to help players find their rhythm, while the back nine becomes tighter and more tree-lined, placing a premium on accuracy. A "forward tee" initiative gives beginners access to a shorter 1,300- or 1,900-yard nine-hole layout, and the course closes with a bold 477-yard par five.

Belhus Park is part of the Impulse Leisure-run Belhus Park Leisure Centre, sharing its car park with the wider complex. The 18-hole course is floodlit and open to both members and non-members seven days a week, with online booking via the Impulse Leisure app. The clubhouse includes a bar/café, changing rooms and shower facilities, and group packages such as the "2 Ball and a Buggy Deal" are available. Access is straightforward from the A13 and M25 Junction 30.
