Golf Course Overview
The Bedford Golf Club at Great Denham near Bedford, Bedfordshire, was an 18-hole parkland course designed by David Pottage of John Jacobs Associates and opened in 1999 at the heart of the "golf village" of Great Denham. Despite attracting more than 30,000 rounds in its final year, the leaseholder chose not to renew its tenancy with the Old Ford End Trust and the club closed in October 2020, with plans to convert the clubhouse into a children's nursery and let the grass be used for grazing or pasture.
