Golf Course Overview
Cainhoe Wood Golf Club, formerly known as Beadlow Manor Country Club, occupies a 180-acre parkland setting in the heart of central Bedfordshire between Clophill and Shefford. Under new ownership the two 18-hole courses — the Castle and the Manor — have been steadily upgraded, with the Castle course measuring roughly 6,611 yards off the men's competition tees and playing to a par of 71. Strategically placed water hazards, gentle undulations and mature tree lines reward thoughtful course management, and the Castle layout is reserved for members and their guests.
The clubhouse offers a bar, café and restaurant with seasonal menus, while practice facilities include a 25-bay covered driving range fitted with Toptracer technology, an open practice ground and a putting green. Cainhoe Wood is a family-friendly venue with a welcoming atmosphere and hosts local and regional competitions throughout the year. The site is easily reached from the A507 and lies roughly ten minutes from both the M1 and the A1, making it straightforward to access from across the county and beyond.
