Golf Course Overview

Bawtry Golf Club opened in 1974 and is located in Austerfield on the outskirts of Doncaster. The 18-hole parkland course measures nearly 7,000 yards from the championship tees with a par of 73, presenting a stern challenge from the opening tee shot through to the final putt. Tested by well-positioned hazards, tight tricky fairways and fast, troublesome greens, players face a risk-reward dilemma at every turn. The full-time professional greenkeeping team takes pride in presenting the course in top condition all year round, with the playing surfaces helping to bolster the venue's reputation in the region.

The club operates on a pay-and-play basis as well as offering full membership, with a clubhouse providing bar, restaurant, locker rooms, putting green and pro shop. A driving range, motorised carts, club rental and PGA tuition complete the on-course offer. Bawtry is reached via Cross Lane in Austerfield, just off the A638 north-east of Doncaster town centre and conveniently positioned for the A1(M) and Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airport.
