Golf Course Overview
Ayr Carrick Golf Club is a long-established members' club that plays its golf over the two James Braid-designed municipal courses in Ayr's Belleisle Park, namely Belleisle (par 71, around 6,419 yards) and Seafield (par 68, around 5,429 yards), both dating from 1927. As a non-course-owning club, Ayr Carrick uses Belleisle for spring and summer competitions and switches to Seafield in winter, giving members a varied year-round fixture list across two of Scotland's finest public parkland and links-style layouts.
The club previously had its base in Ayr but moved at the start of 2022 to the Balgarth Pines Bar and Restaurant in Doonfoot, where members meet for prize-givings, the annual smoker and other social events. Visitors who wish to play the courses themselves book directly through Golf South Ayrshire at the Belleisle Park clubhouse on Doonfoot Road, just south of Ayr town centre and a short drive from Prestwick airport.
