Golf Course Overview

Aylesbury Vale Golf Club was founded in 1989 and opened for play in 1991, laid out across gently rolling Bedfordshire countryside between the villages of Wing and Stewkley. The 18-hole parkland course measures around 6,612 yards from the competition tees with a par and Standard Scratch Score of 72. Generous fairways bordered by mature trees give the layout plenty of breathing room, with each hole designed as its own self-contained challenge and no shared fairways or crossovers to contend with.

Facilities at AVGC include a well-stocked pro shop, a 250-yard driving range with grass tees, a practice putting green and chipping area, plus a spacious clubhouse with a function room able to host up to 100 guests. The club welcomes visitors without requiring pre-booked tee times and runs active men's, ladies' and seniors' sections with a full calendar of competitions. The course sits roughly ten minutes from the M1 and A5 and is within easy reach of Milton Keynes, Dunstable, Aylesbury and Leighton Buzzard.
