Golf Course Overview

Avisford Park Golf Club is set in 89 acres of gardens and parkland in England's South Downs at Walberton, three miles from the historic town of Arundel. The 18-hole course measures around 5,800 yards (some sources giving 6,227 from championship tees) to a par of 71, with a varied mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s, water hazards and well-maintained fairways and greens. The first nine is set in the grounds of the Avisford Park Hotel — a Georgian manor house dating from 1756 — while the second nine plays through an adjacent valley with a slightly hillier feel.

The clubhouse offers full bar and catering facilities, a golf shop and a terrace overlooking part of the course. Avisford Park welcomes visitors and societies seven days a week, with golf days, tuition with the resident pro and golf-and-stay packages available through the on-site 4-star hotel. The course is well placed for the South Downs National Park, Goodwood Races, Arundel Castle and Chichester Cathedral, with easy access from the A27 and good rail connections via Barnham station.
