Golf Course Overview
Austin Lodge Golf Club near Eynsford, Kent, was a challenging 18-hole pay-and-play course of some 6,575 yards (par 73) laid out through a series of dramatic chalk valleys in the North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with elevated tees, spectacular views and tricky greens. Opened in 1991 and owned by Pentland Golf, it was put up for sale in 2012 at £1.785 million but failed to find a buyer, and in late 2014 Pentland closed the club and reverted the 279-acre site to farmland.
