Golf Course Overview
Ashton Golf Centre is a friendly nine-hole parkland course set in the village of Ashton-with-Stodday, just south of Lancaster on the western fringe of the Lune Estuary. The course measures around 4,198 yards from the back tees with a par of 64, and the easy-walking layout has been designed to suit beginners and improvers as much as more experienced players. Open fairways, modest contours and well-maintained greens give the course an accessible character, while the rural setting offers pleasant views across the surrounding farmland and towards the estuary.
Facilities at the centre include a ten-bay covered floodlit driving range that operates seven days a week year-round, a putting green and a practice area, plus a fully licensed clubhouse with a balcony overlooking the course. The venue runs on a pay-and-play basis and welcomes visitors any day, making it a popular choice for casual rounds and group bookings. Ashton-with-Stodday is reached via the A588 just a short drive south of Lancaster, with parking on site and good links to the A6 and the M6 at junction 33.
